Carmine Nastri is a celebrated champion in the world of rodeo, renowned for his exceptional skills, dedication, and lasting impact on the sport. Over a career spanning decades, Carmine has achieved an extraordinary legacy that places him among the most accomplished competitors in rodeo history.
Carmine’s journey to greatness began early, as he won his first all-around title at the age of 19, a remarkable feat that marked the start of an illustrious career. Since then, he has amassed an incredible 26 PRCA Circuit Championships, including:
13 in tie-down roping
7 in team roping
6 all-around titles
Among his many achievements, Carmine was crowned the Quarter Horse Congress Calf Roping Champion and the 2003 Dodge National Finals All-Around Champion. He has demonstrated exceptional consistency and skill throughout his career, earning 13 Average Titles in Team Roping and 14 Year-End Titles in Tie-Down Roping.
Carmine also holds the record for the longest span between first and last titles in PRCA history—an incredible 33 years—surpassing the previous record of 27 years. This extraordinary accomplishment is a testament to his talent, perseverance, and ability to compete at the highest level across generations.
